Today I'm going to tell you all about something a little bit different.
It's a service from HarbourSat.com.au called satellite broadband.
What differs between this service and your regular broadband Internet is the fact that (as you may have guessed by it's name) satellite broadband is broadband Internet delivered via satellite.

So what right?
Well, this means that all the country bumpkins out on their farms can now use high speed Internet from their place!
The problem with the normal ground-based broadband services is that places too far from the central towers have minimal, or no Internet connectivity.

This doesn't mean that it's limited to the country areas, broadband via satellite is available to all rural, regional, and metropolitan areas!
Harbour IT's satellite service makes use of the NEWEST communications satellite available, the Optus D1, which means it's running on the newest and most efficient technology available, saving you from burning a hole in your pocket, and all the problems associated with older technology.
Harbour IT's service is second to none also, with it's service desk open from 8.30am to 9.00pm Monday to Friday AND 8.30am to 3.00pm on weekends + public holidays! (AEST)
So you will never have unsolvable problems less than a short phone call away.

Their very affordable plans start at $24.95 per month, but their special promotion offers $9.95 for the first 6 months! All plans include a 1.2m meter satellite dish, Gilat 360E 2 way modem and LNB and 25m of cabling just to name the 'basics'.

Expect the same great features of the standard broadband including always online 24 x 7 connection, great speeds and download quotas!
