Do you really need me to answer that with a personal story?
There is a forum linked to bux filled with millions of them.
You still want mine?
OK.

Well I started off a bit reluctant (as you do)
The forum stories made me feel as bit more confident about bux.to's ability to make a profit and keep the site going.
After all, it is the longest running (arguable) PTC (Paid to Click) website ever created.
On average, someone gets their hands on a PTC php script from a random website {for free (easily done)} and has intentions to put it up on a server and make a fortune.
Reality is, the only PTC sites that actually make profits are those with owners who have enough brains to monetize in every way possible.
For instance, Bux.to supplies mostly it's own adverts (Rather than advertisers purchasing views) to products (Generally from the clickbank marketplace) which they make a percentage off when a fellow PTCer clicks on the link, earns their 1c and buys the product.
Easy in theory, but bux.to has had plenty of time to experiment and see what actually sells.
I bought a 'WhyPark' account via one of Bux's adverts and i believe it was a good buy.
I've only parked a couple of domains in there and after a couple of months I've already got $10 from it.
Eh, easy.

Anyways, so the account was something like $100 and bux.to (Being the advertiser of the product via clickbank's marketplace) got a percentage of the sale price.
50% i think, so that was an easy $50 for them.
This is just one way Bux.to monetizes it's program.
Another obvious way is via selling referral packages (Refer to any PTC site for more info on them)
Whatever, you all get the point, the trick to a successful PTC site is commitment and smart monetizing. Obviously honest is crucial as well, It's pretty easy for an entire community to turn on your management. MUTINY!
So anyways, I've decided it was OK to invest a little into Bux.to
Good idea right? Yep.
Started off promoting to friends and various communities i was in with.
Got a couple of little bees working for me earning me a few cents.
Instantly decided it was time to actually invest some coin.
My first purchase was 100 referrals for $98US with a $5 instant cash back into my account.
My 100 members were transferred in within the day and i noticed the difference straight away.
I had bought a great pack of earners. They kept me earning much further than the $98 i spent until there was some server troubles/ script errors with the site.
When the problems were fixed, about 90% of my referrals were dead.
Oh well, i got my money back plus some more.
High intentions got me to aim high with a 500 referral pack. Good bye to $459.
No idea what the hell i was thinking... That is many hours of work I've entrusted to this virtual site, haha.
Oh well my bad feelings only took a couple of weeks to calm down, my balance was up in the $800 region with only ~$550 outlaid. Sweet.
Almost cash out time i thought, no more investing until i have that cash in hand.
I waited another fortnight, then cashed out at exactly $1000
2 months later, my Alertpay account was $1000 richer!

Took my investments back into my bank account, and re-invested the profits with another 500 referral pack.
Long story short, my account balance is now $ 3,909.5975 with an $1180 payment pending.
Due to come in any day now on my brand spanking Bux.to debit card!
I'll probably keep all of that money and cash out what's left afterwards (~$2700) and invest most of that :D
So in closing.
IS BUX.TO A SCAM?
Not in my experiences.
It's been a pleasure dealing with them.
Don't go expecting the speediest get rich retirement plan though.
At the time of posting this, Bux.to are in the process of catching up with payments, Premium members have been waiting over 6 months for payments for quite a while now, but things are getting alot better.
Servers are being upgraded at this moment, along with the introduction of the new Bux.to website script hopefully due to be implemented Jan/Feb by the looks of things.
Good day fine sirs.
PS:
Don't care what anyone says, the new Facebook owns.
Not that I use it much :P
